Privacy Policy
What we store, why, who touches it, and how to get it removed. Last updated: July 2026.
What we store
- Account data: your name, email, phone (if given), and password hash. Never your password itself.
- Project data: everything you enter to build a package – property address, owner details, bedrooms, fixtures, soil layers, T-times, setback distances – plus any site plan files you upload and the PDFs you export.
- Free check leads: the name, email, project type, county and town you give at the gate, plus your answers and result. Kept for 90 days; buying a project with the same email within that window prefills your project. After 90 days without a purchase, the lead expires.
- Purchase records: what you bought and when. Card numbers never touch our servers – see Stripe below.
Who processes it
- Stripe handles all payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
- MailerLite handles email. Free-check leads and customers are stored there as subscribers with project type, county, town and risk-level fields. Every email has a working unsubscribe link.
- Site plan uploads and exported PDFs live in secure cloud file storage tied to your project.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your project details with installers, townships, or anyone else – the package is yours to submit, or not.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from email anytime via the link in any message. To see or delete the data we hold on you, contact Support from the email on the account. Purchase records may be retained where tax law requires it.
Ontario Septic Designer is a planning, calculation, and permit package preparation tool. It does not issue permits. Final approval is by the local building department, health unit, or approval authority. · Home · Disclaimer · Terms of Use
