Terms of Use
Plain language, no surprises. Using this site or the software means you accept these terms. Last updated: July 2026.
Accounts
You need an account to use a paid project or a subscription. Keep your login to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us a real email – receipts, login links and export notices go there.
The $99.99 Permit Package Builder
- One payment covers one project. A second project is a second $99.99.
- Payment comes first; the project starts after checkout.
- Access runs 90 days from purchase, with unlimited edits and unlimited PDF exports for that project during that time.
- Extensions: 30 days for $19.99, 90 days for $39.99. Reactivation after expiry: $29.99. Your data is retained after expiry; the project becomes read-only until extended or reactivated.
Part 8 Designer Pro subscriptions
- Pro 10: $99/month or $990/year, 10 projects per billing period. The counter resets each period; unused projects do not carry over.
- Pro Unlimited: $149/month or $1,490/year. Unlimited means genuine professional use, not resale, automation, or account sharing – fair use applies.
- Pro project access follows the subscription – no 90-day clock.
- Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Installer listings
- Application is free. No listing appears until approved.
- Paid plans renew monthly or annually through Stripe. A failed payment pauses the listing until resolved.
- No guarantee of leads, jobs, or search rankings – ever.
- Keep your information current. Listings can be removed for complaints, false information, or expired licence/insurance documents.
- Featured placement is limited to a maximum of 3 installers per county or region.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, or misrepresent the software’s output. Do not present any output as a permit, an approval, or an engineered design.
The big one
Everything the software produces is planning material prepared from YOUR inputs. See the Disclaimer and Software Scope – both are part of these terms. Field-verify everything. Final approval belongs to your local approval authority.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. If a change matters to a paid plan, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
